SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The sassa status check assistance issue established for intervention experiences a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the sassa status agency said.
